Gas Rebate Cards: Gimmick or Great Deal?
If you search around you will find many offers for credit cards that offer a rebate on the gas you purchase for your car, truck, or SUV. While it's nice to get some money back, some of these credit cards have high interest rates and that can quickly eat up any rebates you may earn if you don't pay off you balance every month.

Some gas rebate cards also have a limit on how much they give you as a gas rebate. It may start off at 4% or 5% but after 90 days it may drop down to only 1% or 2%. Some cards don't give you the full rebate if you only buy gas with your card and don't buy other things as well. The best thing to do is check all that damn fine print or call them up and ask them to explain all the details, they'll love doing that...
